The previous days we had day temperatures between 22 C and 32 C (71-90 F) and night temperatures 17-24 (62-75). I bought it 3 weeks ago from a floral exhibition and left it in the (small) pot it was in. So i have no idea about the soil they used and its age (i presume it's its second year). I have it outdoors in partially shade place with direct sunlight only just before sunset. Every single flower had this necrosis however the fruits and the not yet opened flowers look fine. My raspberries are in sandy soil and I didn't water them at all until the big heat waves of the past ~5 weeks, and they've done splendidly. Once the drought and heat hit for a while, I've been watering them about twice a week and they are still healthy. So I wonder if you've been watering just way too much. They don't need a ton of water. They're much more robust than, say, pumpkins or peas, which start looking really bad if you don't water them at least once a day if not twice a day.

Brand new Coho plants I put in this year in an area where no raspberries have grown but infested with blackberry vines, are developing brown areas in the new leaves.:-( This doesn't look like the same problem as the other raspberries. My other raspberries are: Willamette Chilliwack Newburgh Amity Latham Fall Gold Meeker I'm hoping among them are some that will grow well without disease. I have a large stand of Chilliwack that seems to be OK so far.
