Thanks so much for all of the wonderful compliments. I was happy with how he turned out. My husband rolled his eyes at my project until I showed him what I was trying to do and then he started helping me find the things I needed to do this right. Still keeping an eye for a plant stand but also like the froggy in my cement planter. Does anyone know what kind of paint I would need to paint the cement planter? I did the eyes with the tea light holders. Someone else on this board did a frog bb and I loved it. She used the glass tea light holders but I couldn't find those but the dollar store had the metal holders. So i painted the tin holder and glued an eye in it that I bought at Hobby Lobby. I forget what department the eyes were in but they had all kinds of sizes and these big ones were perfect for this. Wish I had grand kids but not yet! I adore kids but my son is only 22 and daughter is 15. They better wait to have kids!!!! Mindy

lol... if you read my reply in the 'new roll call' post, where I was telling about all the things I had buried up in the hills....well, along the stash I had, were about 50 of the balls, mostly all black ones..( I know, I showed no restraint, back in those days)..that I got free from a bowling alley.. I had them stashed under the porch at the house we were renting.. the two truck loads of other things from the yard, had already been buried and when it came time to move, I remembered all the balls..so, what to do with them? I wasn't going to haul them all to the house here, so we loaded them up and rather than bury them, they're out in the woods.. now, when a hunter tracks a deer, he can pretty well figure where it has been, by the deer droppings.. I've wondered, from time to time, what any hunter has wondered, if they happen upon those 50 plus balls, out there, along the hunting trails......

Here is the bedroom we are putting the bed in- the wall to the right of the bed is ALL windows, and we're thinking of moving the bed in front of it. problem with this room is, we never open the blind, for privacy. The dresser will remain, but I will likely take the large mirror off, and put a vase or hand 2-3 smaller pictures above instead. Wanted to show you the color of the dresser/bed. Here is the photo of the bed we are building- bedding will be simple, probably just white, with a thin strip of color (fodler blanket) at the bottom. Thanks Amy- at the very least, I'm going to get a sample of VTD. You're right about the lighting, I've been "testing" the ball green with the blinds open, when 99% of the time, they aren't. Good point!!
