My yard and gardens are a wreck The drought has almost killed all my plants and last summer due to illness and my Mom being sick did not do much work in them- My poor hubsand keeps coming to the area I am working and keeps asking what are you going to do with all of this stuff- I told him I have given up flowers so going to fill flower beds with Garden Junk

It's all about rules -- and you make your own rules. My general rule is, the different types of junk shouldn't be able to 'see' one another. The cement bunny can be in sight of the brass butterflies on metal posts, but if I had gnomes, they wouldn't be seen if you were looking at the bunny. The tiny memorial garden cherub with the broken wing can't see the fairy who's behind a tree with the little animals-dressed-like-people figurines. Discovery is part of the joy of garden junk, both in finding junk and allowing visitors to discover your treasures in the garden Another rule: two is not a collection. If you're going to have pink flamingos, you need a flock. If you've not a flock, then you need two flamingos, an alligator, a lighted fake palm tree and some of those frogs who play musical instruments for a sort of Florida meets the swamp display. Various elements just need a common theme. Rule three: Neatness counts. The bestest junk needs a beautiful garden around it. Pick up the empty flower pots and pieces of lumber. Uh, maybe some of you should drop by and help me move some stuff and mulch some beds? ; ) It's all fun. Make your own rules. Enjoy. Nell

LOL, Jules, how I wish I had everything in my yard. But I have to browse the album like everyone else. I have only a couple photos of my things in there, think my cobalt totem and my gnome garden. I just saw that stepping stone with the old keys the other day and thought it was a neat idea. The more I look at this, I keep thinking what a great idea. I think these Pot Totems would look great in a garden as well as a pot. Just to add small touches of color here and there. And it sure would be easier to just assemble two or three pieces of glass. I like the simplicity of this a lot. I'm usually wracking my brain and getting frustrated trying to find pieces that work together for the larger totems. Plus running out of room. I promised myself I'd only make a couple more at most. But your idea has me thinking along different lines. Thank you!

They were some pink small plastic crystal my daughter had a pink wedding and bought them to put in vases and other stuff so have tons of them they are small

I use GE Silicone II for windows, foor, attic basement
That is what I found here that others use

THANK you for the glue info. I have so much "stuff" around here/in the storeroom in the basement that I/we want to get rid of. Now I have a purpose for much of it. :)
