Choosing the Right Fruit Trees for Houston Texas - Help Please!

Hi Everyone, This is my first post here. I recently moved to Houston and I am looking to finish the landscaping in my new-to-me home. The seller had planted a few fruit trees, and even though I think it may be too late in the season to plant, I would really like to complete my "Orchard" as soon as possible.

My lot size is around a half an acre, and if I plant on a 10-20 foot spacing (I have a few large shade trees that I want to avaid), I figure I can plant 10-13 more trees.

My wife would like some "taller" trees along the fence line to add some more privacy. I have done some research, but before I go out and see what I can find during this time of year, I would like to get your opinions.

Here is what I have already in the yard:

Shade Trees

Ilex opaca

Celtis occidentalis

Quercus shumardii var buckleyi

Pinus taeda

Quercus nigra

Flowering Trees

Pyrus calleryana

Magnolia soulangia

Fruit Trees

Fortunella hindsii x Citrus limon var Lemon Drop

Citrus paradise var Ruby Red

Malus domestica var Yellow Delicious Semi-Dwarf

Prunus persica var Red Skin

Citrus fortunella var Kumquat

Malus domestica var Dorsett Golden Apple

Here is what I think I want to add:

Carya illinoinensis var Elliot

Carya illinoinensis var Caddo

Prunus persica var Red Baron

Olea europaea var Mission Olive

Citrus sinensis var Republic of Texas Orange

Citrus limon var Meyer Lemon

Malus domestica var Anna

Malus domestica var Fuji

Pyrus communis var Southern Queen

Pyrus communis var Acres Homes

And these are the other trees I am considering as alternative plants:

Olea europaea var Arbequina Olive

Malus domestica var Reverend Morgan Atlaspur

Malus domestica var Granny Smith

Pyrus communis var Tennesse

Pyrus communis var Tennousi

Pyrus communis var Spalding

Pyrus communis var Keifer

Prunus persica var Tropic Snow

Prunus persica var Midpride

Prunus persica var Tropic Beauty

These are no final, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
