Ok so it's just another mosaic site... but WOW!!

The home page is www.makeminepink.com. It shows all kinds of different sites for us girlie girls. Shabbyfufu is one of them And there you can find the most beautiful shabby chic floral mosaics... I can't stop drooling.

I did a quick look see and saved it to favs. I wish I could get into Shabby Chic w/white grout but just can't. I love to LOOK at it but can't DO it. The thing I LOVE about her style is the way she uses the wonderful plate edges, circular designs, entertwined, and most of all I love the way she just mosaics part of an old fence piece, and not cover the whole thing. Great site, beautiful stuff.

hey nice, did you ever figure out how to write code? Wicked easy. Instead of pasting your link into those given boxes, you simply type this: Paste in your link right after the quote, then close that part with "> Then, leaving NO spaces after the >, type in whatever you want to call your link. Hey Slow, Calam and Thyme..great to be back! thnx..yes depressed, slightly, dried too fast too I think..thus wash-out? Can I just sand grout on top layer? will it adhere ok? feel like a dummy lol..always google or look here first but..oh no..had to hurry up and get er done!! a friend lets me use a space so..gotta get to it when available..bought some colorant/sealer..use a toothbrush? but..concerned should I regrout first..really wanna post pic, I think I have bucket??or.. is it Flicker lol

Take another measure, Muscat, pretending your granite is down. Instead of measuring the "reach" from the back, fixture center and into the sink, measure from front sink reveal edge to center of water flow stream. Mine is 7-3/4". If you're thinking the faucet arc/spigot front is so "in your face", it's not at that distance. These huge fangled faucets look very imposing at first, but really are not. Remember too, you will never have the faucet spout positioned directly over the bridge as in your mock-up (not even when all clean and sitting there pretty for company coming or picture taking). The spigot always sits to a side, ready to go to work. Turning the faucet on with spigot directly over the sink's flat bridge will cause a splatter in all directions on a SS sink.

I love those things too--thought that birdhouse with the teapot spout on the front was too clever! I've bought lots of those silver trays to paint on--had never seen them with mosaic before. However, I have to tell you-- it just breaks my heart to think of all those lovely rose dishes being broken! ;o( Luvs

Now that's my kind of stuff! Thanks for sharing - really nice.

Funny how today I was thinking of silver trays I'd seen at a secondhand store and just couldn't imagine what could be done with them. Now I know!!

I just LOVE the tea spout bird houses and the tea cup chandelier!!!!! Gave me something to add to my "gotta do" list!!!

How super!! Don't get into the shabby thing for myself, but LOVE to look at it!!! Only down side is I actually have a market for this sort of mosaic, but the price it would get there limits the $ I can spend on the china....there just aren't any pretty plates around here for a decent price. Sure wish I could handpaint the roses!

I knew you all would love it. Soo many great ideas. I love the chandiliers too. Soo pretty. I have the same problem with pretty plates. I have found a few saucers but only onezies, but I buy each one I find. I keep going back for another look.

Oh my, some great ideas there!!!! Love the teapot birdhouse, the little stepladder, and the silver cake plate stand. I am not into the Shabby Chick colors, but enjoy looking at pix of it anyway.
