My shed to which I will have my potting bench setting up against on the side . for some reason this is the only forum that allows me to post ant photos. :(

We are contemplating using the Heavy lattice (wire screen stapled to it on the back side). It is expensive, around $42.00 for a 4x8. We are thinking for the front and back and cinderblocks on each side with concrete blocks that go over the holes. Ours is only about 6-12 inches off the ground. Would that keep the rats from setting up house under it? We live in a rural area where, really any varmet could live.

I had a braided ficus for years, since we live in Texas I kept it on the balcony year-round, they can be a little temperamental about leaf drop but recover just fine. Remember its whole world is in that pot so a little balanced fertilizer every now and again won't hurt it, keep the dirt from getting compacted so the roots get enough oxygen and repot it in a larger pot when it outgrows the one it's in. And water as needed, of course. Enjoy, they're really a pretty plant with nice bright glossy leaves and cool trunk. :)

Wow, that is a great garden shed! Your potting bench will be awesome there! Love the color combo, very pleasing, and your picket fence really adds to the look, as well as the chair. You've got lots of space to work with, and it will be neat seeing this area as it progresses. Have fun and keep posting pictures.

Is that Periwinkle paint?
My Dr just did his patient rooms in periwinkle and it is a most pleasing color.

You should add a porch too. I love the way it looks so far. I just got a premade barn style shed last summer and it's been a haven for me this winter. You will have so much fun in your playhouse. I, too LOVE the colors! Enjoy! Here's a pic of mine...

Ohh, cottagegirl...lookin' good around your garden shed (and shed itself!) I bet you are having lots of fun...here's a path I put in last summer between ol' garden shed (formerly my chicken house)and potting bench...it's out there in the snow right now...my SIL rescued an old door with pane windows that my DH & I will put in the shed when summer gets here.
