Comments (4)Those are commercially done designs. I am familiar with the look of hand painted glassware....and that's not it! Sorry I can't be more specific, but a lot of companies made black amethyst glass in the 20's, and a lot of it was painted with colors which were not fired on, as was a lot of the enamel painting on glass....so when it chipped, people often took a razor blade and removed the rest.
