Great stuff Sylvia! I can see the grocery cart lined with spagnum moss and planted with succulents sitting in the garden! The teapot would make a lovely birdhouse. For the rest I see totems! Good haul!

Sylvia Shopping in our favorite ts does tend to make us feel a little better huh. You really scored this time I love the teapot. Will look good in the garden. The vase is pretty too. Like that a lot. And what a find with the little shopping cart. I saw somewhere an avid gardener took a full sized one and painted it with bright cheerful colors and used it for carting her garden tools and supplies where ever she was working. So my thoughts was to spray paint it up nice and pretty and use it for a flower pot in your garden or put it in a deck or patio etc.

And Sylvia my prayers are with you girl. Be happy and stay positive.

That teapot is just wonderful & I can see it sitting like it is on a patio table or such... with a big bouquet of "lilacs" in the spring...sitting there with it!

Lots of great scores there! Love the lil shopping cart! If you use fresh herbs, I would line it with moss, and plant herbs in the top and out the sides (poke lil holes and stuff the plants in) Ha Ha..knowing me..I would find a doll to sit in the seat part that was crying..as you always see in grocery stores..LOL

It is so nice to see your face! What a wonderful haul you made. I absolutely love the teapot. Those are my downfall. I can't seem to leave any behind when I find them. The sun would be great used like a plate flower on a pipe. A ray of sunshine peaking out between the flowers. I love the idea of planting the shopping cart up nicely...and maybe hide some "junk" amongst the plants you put in there.

cool finds. I use my grocery cart for fruit on the kitchen table. I have used on outside patio with fruit also if we had a bbq.

I thought for sure that purplemoon was going to scheme to get that teapot from you for her little teapot garden. he-he I think it is so pretty. But I'm a sucker for teapots and butterflies! You can't help but smile when you look at that sun bank too. That would be adorable on a totem or just glued to the top of a pipe (with a flange) and stuck in the garden like others have suggested. I can't wait to see what you do with your other finds. I'm sure they will be stunning used in a totems ... especially that purple and green vase. There's nothing quite like a trip to a thrift store to perk you up!! Especially when you find such great "junk"!!

The teapot is wonderful...great color!! For some reason, I can't get the picture of the sun...boohoo! It's apparently being blocked by my security. I don't understand why some pics come through and some don't. Weird!

I am so happy you were able to do some fun shopping and I love your finds! I especially love the milk glass stemmed bowl, I have two like them and I found some glass flower frogs at an antique store that fit perfectly in the top. The sunbank will be so cute for a totem topper and I agree with luna.. better hide that teapot from Ms. Karen!:)

Good grief, I have been trying to find a picture of a shopping cart lined with sphagnum moss and planted. I know I have seen it done but I think it was in a magazine or a book. Dag nabbit! I did find some cool animal topiary frames though!
