Beautiful!!!!

Hi Jeanne! Thank you for my flower, it's beautiful! Yes, I lurk for a few minutes every morning, just to keep up with what everyone is doing. I haven't made anything in a lonnngg time, except for this old shutter that I painted, and have yet to hang on my porch! I've been doing a major overhaul on all the gardens, trying to downsize, so I'm not a slave to it anymore, because I've developed a bum hip. And it seems that whenever anyone has gone on vacation this summer, they ask ME to take care of their gardens! Well, our daughter goes back to school in 3 weeks, and I'll miss her terribly, even though all I saw of her this summer was her back, as she went out the door to see her boyfriend. She's in loooovvvve!! Oy!! I'm looking forward to Fall, because I really miss playing with junk, and I can start participating here again. Looks like there's a ton of talented newbies on here! Susie, I always enjoy your posts! You are so supportive of everyone! How are things going up there in Northern IL? We FINALLY got some rain just now, and it looks like another wave will be coming through. We really need it! Thanks for the advice about our college girl. I guess all that really matters is that she does well in school. Who knows, maybe it won't be as hard this second time around!

Ahhh, countrygrl...glad you answered my post...just been wondering about you...and I love your shutter with the wonderful plates...afraid I'm a "dish" addict! All these glass and mosaic people sure make me want to do some of it!

Your dd ... that is so cool that she's ready for the 2nd yr. of college. WOW! It will be better this time ... cause remember you BOTH made it thru the first time, so you can do it again. Ohhh, and, young love... wow, that's even more special! Enjoy these 3 wks...times' a-flyin'!
