Spider Mites on New Apple Trees

I just noticed today some spinning spider mites on my apple trees. It's been very dusty in this area, as we've been continuing to get the landscaping and hardscaping completed. I've tried to keep the trees sprayed and clean, to keep the dust down, but I obviously did not do a good enough job. I'm just now seeing some very fine web strands, and what I believe are some variety of spider mites. I'm going to hose off the trees carefully, tops and bottoms of leaves, taking care as some are just leafing out, some are flowering, and some have set fruit. What other management options do I have? I looked to see if Spinosad was effective, but apparently it is not. So, do I need to concoct some sort of insecticidal soap and horticultural oil? I have Volk Oil, and do I need to find a soap recipe, mix the two together, then spray well? Any other suggestions, or recipes for soaps?
