My new friend... the spath (with white funk)

Ok, so I broke down and got a peace lily (spathiphyllum stated on tag) in a 6" pot from Kmart that looked so wilted and desperate for a home. (yeah, I'm a sucker)

I brought it home, put it in place on my plant stand in my basement bedroom in front of the NE windows. Let it sit for 2 days. Then gave it a luke warm bath and full watering, draining well. Made a pebble tray for it and took a couple dead, yellowy, dried, and dying leafs off of it. Raised humidity in plant area from 20% to now 75%. Temp is still a bit low by the window in the 55F to 65F range.

Five or six days later, it's looking much better, but now I noticed very small, white, powdery spots on a few of the leaves. WHAT IS THIS FUNK? (see pics below)

It's due for another watering and misting tomorrow morning. Do I use mild soapy water on the leaves just in case it's some parasite or something?

I posted some pics. And if anyone knows what variety of spath it is, please let me know. I saw some HUGEAZZ peace lilies in the market today with their spathes as big as my palm!!! I hope I don't have that kind. :-(

(and sorry I can't do better with my stupid camera on phone. Best I could do at the moment.)

Thanks in advance. You guys are a great help!
