Why are some leafs turning dark green, almost black?

The issue I am having is that many of the plants I am growing (about 7 varieties of sweet and spicy peppers and some tomatoes) have dark green, almost black leaves. It almost seems like I have over fertilized the soil. Additionally, a couple of the bell peppers have leaves that are going bright green, almost as if they have a deficiency.

To give some additional information on my setup here is what I am using.

Soil: Fafard Professional Agro-mix

Pots: 2 - 10 gallon depending on the plant.
Nutrients: Miracle Grow all in one (I know its not a preferred method of nutrients but it was my first time growing and I did not want to experiment with liquid fertilizers.

Water Cycle: Typically I try to keep the soil moist at all times and do not let it dry out. Rain this season has been well above average however and the plants are getting about 2-4 inches per week on average.

Any information you can provide would be great!
