I LOVE looking at photos too!
1. Go to an online site like shutterfly or picturetrail and sign up for a free online photo album. Follow the directions and place photos in the online album.

2. Go into your online album and click a photo to enlarge it. Place your curser on the photo and right click.

3. click 'properties' find the email address URL of the photo. (I usually copy and paste) if you don't get this next step just right, it won't work.

4. go back to gardenweb and get ready to post a message. write, in the middle of those two little brackets type, img src= there is a space between the g and the s. now place the address of your photo right after the equal sign.

Post your message and your photo should be inside the message. Good luck!

I LOVE this garden guy! Care to tell us how you did it? He's super! And you're right, a picture does tell a thousand words. Keep up the good work.

He is pretty easy. I start with a
Styrofoam cone from the craft store any size you want I think mine is 17 inches high
wrap in plastic for easy removal, this also helps make garden guy lighter in weight
Cover with hypertufa mix of choice
then give him details face arms hands hat beard ...etc here are a couple others I have made to use as a guide.

Way ta go! You did it! Cool! Cool garden guy too! How do you get a project that tall without all the slumping?!

Keep the mix a little on the dry side only go about 1 to 11/2 inch thick maybe 2 inches max.

Then make the mix just a bit more moist when you add the features.

Once you pull the cone out you can feel up the center to see if the thickness feels consistant. If you find a thin spot just build it up on the inside.
