As my second hypertufa project I decided to make hollow garden spheres using a beach ball. I must admit, I thought it was very strange that hypertufa would actually stick to a ball...but hey, I'm new at this, so you never know. I spent half the day trying to make the stuff stick to the slippery plastic...finally I gave up and used my kids old plastic Halloween pumpkins as molds. Apparently, I was supposed to wrap the beach ball in strips of hardware cloth...next time I'll read the instructions first.
