Need Help with first time hypertufa project

Hi Experts,

Here is what I am trying to do:

Build a rectangular planting pot, with four walls(of course) and top portions of the walls are curved.

Size of the pot: 12" height x 8" widthwith 1.5" walls

Mould: Custom made with fibre glass, has 6 sides to it, the sides are put together with screws with bolts(1")

What I have done so far:

Tried to build the pot using quickrete concrete + terracota colorant + latex fortifier( to make it water resistant) and let it cure for 48 hours. But it failed because the concrete just disintegrated when i opened the mould.

ok so....... after research found hypertufa!!!, sounds too good to be true.

I am on a timeline with this project ........so i cannot experiment a whole lot...

Could you please guide me with these questions:

1)Given what happened with my concrete attempt would hypertufa be a good choice

2)what would be an ideal recipe for a strong hypertufa pot

3)will the sides be smooth, if not what do i need to smooth it out.

4)what is a safe colorant to add while making the pot

5)what is the average curing time.(since i need to make many of these for this project)

this forum is my last stop looking for hypertufa advice. Thank you very much for reading my lengthy email.... and for your input.
