I am growing some toothache (eyeball) plant, aka Para Cress (Acmella oleracea 'Peek-A-Boo') right now. I have a few spare seeds, if you would like. They are easy to grow, and definitely, um, interesting. They have the added benefit of having leaves, that when chewed, will numb your entire mouth. Great for toothaches, hence the name! Use SPARINGLY, as overdosing can make it difficult to swallow. If you would rather wait for my seedlings to mature enough for safe shipping (should be no more than 3-4 weeks tops), I don't mind sending you a few, either.

I realize that your posting is old (August 5), but I have a surplus of lily of the nile to trade. These are starts/bulbs/plantlets, 10 per trade. these are original African Lily like those that grow along the River Nile, not the newer hybrids. Blooms are mixed shade of blue and some white, but none are marked. If you are interested, I am able to trade this week. Thanks, MaryAnn

Well, I'm getting a second round of flowers of "shimmer" Oenothera. That is pleasant surprise. What isn;t AS cool is they they open up when the lighting is terrible and getting a nice picture of them before the flowers shrivel up is not so easy. Course, that really isn't a surprise, it is an EVENING primrose, after all. What I did get pictures of is my gladiolus "black surprise" that is blooming. Not a very impressive display this year, I think most of them drowned to death this spring, but this is a very neat color, I'm glad my wife picked these ones out! They change colors depending on the light! The ones that opened today have touch of purple on them that you can barely see on the last picture.
