2" x 3" ziploc bags at Wal-Mart 100 for $1. Paint pen at Michael's $3.99 unless they're on sale when I think they're 2/$5. Bubble envelopes at Wal-Mart $4 for 10 (I think; not sure about qty).

I bought my little bags (1"x 2") at Joann Fabrics, in the beading/jewelry dept, fairly cheap, under $2. I bet AC Moore or Michaels would also have those baggies. Bubble envies at Dollar Tree 3 for $1.

I usually print my own seed packs then tape or glue them together (templates are EASY to find online) tho lately I've been using calculator tape taping it together into pouches (not my standard I need to make new ones)

For envelopes I use the small security then add bubbles most of the time if there needed (can get both at the dollar store)
On REAL bubbles it's 4.44 for ten at wallmart (size 0) or like 5 bucks at SAMs club (which is members only but way worth it I think) for 25 (also size 0)

I own photoshop illustrator and acouple outher cs5 programs that help me in making things (I think if you give me some time you may be able to talk me into making some seed packs for you to print up)

Thank you bustani, very generous offer, but I used to use paper envelopes and have really enjoyed the plastic baggies. They are clear and you can see the contents and everyone I trade with seems to like them to. I do appreciate your offer. :-)

I have bought my bags online at that famous auction site in bulk for about 50cents per 100 bags. You get a LOT of bags (I use them up in two years so it's worth it for me). I also buy stickers there and make labels for my baggies instead of writing on them.
You may have friends who get plastic bubble envies at work, it's so easy to recycle them.

Just for anyone's information, I did get my supplies. I was at KMart for their Burpee Seeds @ 40% off sale and I picked up supplies while I was there. They had 6 packs of bubble envelopes for $3.+ change, for different sizes, Clear packaging tape, and mailing labels, which I paid too much for because all they had were the sheets that go in the printer and they were about $4. for 100 of the 2x4 inch size? I just couldn't make a separate trip to another store to get a better deal. For anyone trying to keep the cost down, I have used index cards or even colored notepaper for mailing labels, with clear packaging tape over it.

I also forgot to look for the plastic baggies at KMart. I've never ordered from the 'big auction site' but they do have them on Amazon.....500 2x3 clear baggies for $5.33. So I'm going to go with that, since I have to make a purchase there anyway and will be able to get free shipping.

I've purchased the little baggies, 2x2 and 2x3, online in the past... Where in the world do you find them at Walmart? I've searched everywhere in the store, and have even asked a manager, but still can't find them.

hostarookie - The little ziploc baggies 2" x 3" are sold at WM 100 bags/$1. They are in the crafting/beading aisle, near where you'd find those translucent plastic boxes for beads with all the small sections. The baggies are in their own ziploc bag & hanging from a peg that sticks out from the wall. There's a lavender/purple thin cardboard label bent over the top of the baggie that says "fashion accessories." SKU/item ID is 1115-01-WAL Reclosable Bags.

I've bought them online, 100 for $1.00, but it ends up being at least double after paying the shipping fees. I'd much rather find them locally and buy 2-3 packs for the price I'm paying for 1 online. :-)

I bought some of the plastic little baggies at a dollar store nearby. But I also buy the coin envies at Office Max (or make some from the templates online) for Petunia, Poppy seeds, and other small seeds that CLING to the plastic. That drives me bonkers trying to get tiny seeds out of the plastic Ziplocs, because they don't all come out without a fight. :) I suppose wrapping the seeds in wax paper first and then putting it in the plastic Ziploc would work too. That's a thought. Cheaper than buying the coin evnies! :)
