All my corn got blown down: Now what?

I have about 24 stalks of corn in my backyard garden. I few days ago, a fierce storm came through and blew down all 24 of my corn stalks. Every one of them is laying flat.

Should I just pull them out now, or are they salvageable? I mean, can I stake them for support? Or would that be a waste of time?

Is it typical for corn to get flattened like that? Could it be my soil? My corn are in raised beds filled with loose soil, rich with compost. Looks like the roots are pretty superficial.

Thanks,

Guy
