Dear people, There have been a few mixups due to people sending their sase to me with no notes about what seed they are requesting. If you don't include your GW name I don't know WHO you are and have no way of contacting you. So...please include info: your real name, your GW name and email address and WHAT SEED YOU WANT! If you don't get anything in the mail this may be why, or if you get the WRONG seed in the mail this may be why. I am happy to send seeds but hate when I get it wrong. :-) Denise imagardener2

Ok, I have seeds for Dr. Carolyn, and Dr. Carolyn Pink, and Green Doctors. Now, I recently received some seed in a trade labeled, "Dr. Carolyn Ivory". Is this another type of Dr. Carolyn, or just another name for the original Dr. Carolyn? I hope I don't sound dumb asking this question! ***** Christy, I don't know how variety names get changed, but Dr. Carolyn Ivory should be just Dr. Carolyn. Green Doctors was named for both me and someone else but is not, as you put it, "Dr. Carolyn Tomato Varieties" and was not one that I discovered. It's a spontaneous mutation of the variety Dr. Carolyn that appeared in someone else's garden. And actually I think it's much better than Green Grape, IMO. The variety Dr. Carolyn was named by Steve Draper from seeds I sent him that were saved from Galina's and the variety Dr. Carolyn Pink, a mutation of Dr. Carolyn, was sent to me already named by an SSE member. I've seen my name as Caroline, and the variety called ivory and all that, so I hope I've clarified things for you. And ever since I started reading/posting online in 1989 I've signed off as Carolyn, and that's what I prefer.( smile) This June I will have been retired for 10 years and I've always tried to keep my professional life separate from my gardening life; that's my online gardening life I'm referring to.
