Okay!! I know exactly what you're talking about, and in fact, I can point you to pictures of that exact same product (or one very similar) in the forum I spoke of. The link's below. Now, to answer this question-- Are there installation issues of stacked pebble stone on mesh compared to sliced stone pieces on mesh? I would think the grouting would be more difficult with the rounded pebbles, but would an installer find it a lot more difficult? Actually, stacked stone does NOT get grouted. This means two things. First, your installer will need to make sure they bed the stones in a good amount of thinset, because that's all that'll be holding them in place. Secondly, if this stone is going to go into the shower, you may have a problem with reference to algae, depending on whether you have city or well water. One way or the other, it'll certainly present some unique cleaning challenges. Also, if it does extend into the shower and you intend to enclose the shower in glass, it may cause a problem in not giving the glass people a flat surface on which to mount the glass. I can help!!! I actually just finished an exact copy of this kitchen - but instead of using Kraftmaid, I had my local cabinet maker copy the cabinets. I did email Kraftmaid and they were very helpful giving me the answers to all my questions. The backsplash they used is the Casa Dolce Casa but when I received a sample of if from the tile store I work with, I wasn't happy with the finish. It had some chipped edges and I was looking for something a bit more "clean". I ended up using Onyx Opala Beige 1x1 Glass Mosaic tiles and it is absolutely beautiful! I'm in the process of grouting (using Jamo Heather)and should finish by end of this week. As soon as I finish the backsplash, the cabinet makers will install the vent hood, the panels for the subzero fully integrated fridge, double draw dishwasher and wine fridge, and install the hardware that I just received this week. I'm not a professional decorator. I live in Florida and have lots of friends who have second homes (condo's) here and I help them manage their remodeling projects and work with their GC's while they are not here. As a result, I end up helping them select cabinets, counter tops, backsplashes, appliances, etc. So much fun! I have completed six kitchens in the past 24 months and my favorite is this one. My friend saw the same pictures you saw and wanted to duplicate it. It is the most elegant kitchen I have ever seen. It's both traditional and modern (transitional?). I used a beautiful quartz counter top (Kraftmaid used granit.) It's breath-takingly beautiful! I'm new to this site and haven't learned how to post pictures yet but will do so and post picture of the kitchen when it is finished. I also learned that the glass in the cabinets is clear - it's the inside of the cabinets that are the dark brown color.

Oh, really? New colors? I am looking at the Elements line, only because the Capriccio doesn't come in small enough tiles (at least that's what the site says, has that changed of do they just have 3x6 and 4x4?) Did you happen to see any of the Elements tiles in person? I am hoping that the earthenware glaze style has some glaze variation and handmade look as well. Unfortunately the Elements is 2x as expensive as the Capriccio! Well- if the Boston store doesn't want to ship me the 13 colors I liked, maybe I should call your MI store!

The tile comes from Spain, it likely has another name from the factory. I suggest you ask about Spanish tiles in your local tile shops that match the size and colors from the Cloe line to be sure it's the same.
