Seeds for trade: yellow sunflowers, red sunflowers, snapdragons

I would like to trade snapdragons (mixed bicolors), yellow mammoth sunflowers, or red sunflowers (smaller flowers, but very striking) for non-weedy perennials. I don't need morning glories or bee balm, but otherwise I'm open to pretty much anything that is fairly easy to grow from seed (this was my first year seed starting!).

I'd also love input on how to successfully start lavender from seed; none of it even germinated this past winter.

Hi,

I would like to trade for your snapdragons and red sunflowers. I have some perenials including Purple Liatris. Gaillardia, Shasta Daisy, and Coneflower. I also have other things as well such as Zinnia, Cannas, Black eyed Susan. Let me know if you want to trade. you can E-Mail me.

As far as the lavender goes, perhaps you should look into winter sowing. There is a forum on GW and they all seem to have very good success with things that are a little more challenging to grow. Good luck.

The snapdragons grew to about 15" tall and had several flower spikes per plant. So I guess they are the tall ones! They are actually still blooming a little even now (in zone 5). Most of them are bicolors (the only solid i had was bright purple, the rest were yellow, pink, white, and red all in different mixes).
