What are you planning for a fall/winter crop?

I had a very successful fall/winter crop last year, and it was my first year trying. I want to do it again, and I'm looking for ideas and pointers.

Last year I was successful with kale, swiss chard, carrots, beets, and tatsoi. I'm in Northern Virginia, and was still pulling things out of the ground in February. The chard and kale actually made it through the whole year and into the spring, with no mulching or fabric covers.

Now I'm thinking of getting more ambitious. What vegetables are you going to try?
