Hi Ya'll

I have plenty of these seeds available for trade or postage (2 - 1st class stamps)

I would like any pitcher plant seeds, venus flytrap seeds, sundew seeds or anything of that kind of seeds...will also consider veggie and fruit seeds...will also consider flower seeds that are perennials and grow in zone 8b (butterfly, hummingbird magnets)...please just make me an offer and if there is nothing I can use at the moment I'll gladly accept postage...I've narrowed down my seeds to just what I plan on using next year and sending in for round robins for the most parts as I don't like for them to sit and get old on me...there's plenty of stuff I don't have tho so don't be afraid to ask...I just may want it...and again I will send for postage...mainly just don't want the seeds to waste

Any interest in Ipomoea platensis seeds? Its a perennial -I grow them in pots here and move them in for the winter, but they might be hardy there. The hummers like them.
Otherwise, I would love some for postage.

I "found" the candlestick growing randomly in my yard a month or so. I've learned not to pull anything up that I'm not certain is a weed. So when I first saw it sprout I let it go = only to watch this most amazing plant develop before my eyes. I knew I had something really special when I saw the leaves pray at night and then the yellow bloom and now the bean like sprouts. Just now researching to discover this site. My question is.. HOW did I get this seed in my yard. A bird? How lucky am I??!!!!! Talk about feeling guilty - my seed must of dropped out of the sky.

I would love to trade with you as well! I actually dont keep my list up to date at the moment, I wanted to know if the different varieties of violets are edible, I have jerusalem artichoke rhizomes i harvested this month plus sweet italian basil also harvested from my garden, the one you use for caprisi salads, yum, I'll email you a more detailed list. for medicinal and culinary herbs like white sage that one came from my school garden as well as vine plants like passiflora incarnata I am interested in your, Solomon's Seal - Polyonatum multiflorum, Skirret, Yarrow, Red, Basil 'Lettuce Leaf' (if the violet varieties are edible i would love some of those as well!) - Stephanie

Mine has small leaves, too, Mary, but it doesn't bloom until the fall. Part of the reason mine blooms so late may be because I always prune it back pretty severely in the early spring, because the area where it grows is crowded, and also, after it gets pruned, it makes a lot of new growth like the sulphurs prefer for egg laying. I can't remember how I got my first one - I think it was from some seeds that Sue sent me when she lived in Florida. I bought 3 more last year from Shady Oaks, but they haven't bloomed yet - they're still pretty small. Sherry

Hi Anyone else growing Cassia roxburghii?? Red cassia. Have two remaing started from seed in 01 that limped along until this year . Has grown more in the last year than it did since sprouting lol, Is this a tree ,bush eventual size and when should it flower?? seems to be getting a single trunk which suggests it's going to get MUCH bigger. Now about 15/15 and seems to have somewhat of a weeping habit. Looks much like the above pix but MUCH finer leaves and single trunk. Has yet to flower for me so no flowers of course. Can't find much info on the net particularly about habits . It's growth rate is beginning to scare me a bit. and bot plants are only 3 feet apart. Much to late to move them I'm sure ..
