HAVE: Updated once again

I very carefully ONCE MORE, went throught and have made decisions to get rid of those things i long to plant and have come to realize i cant grow in southern california. LIKE ECHINACEA... sniff snifff. I also have black eyed susan seed heads that i am TRYING to learn to get seeds out of. There are of course others and by now means do i have as many things to trade as so many of you.. BUT peek and see if anything captures your attention. Oh how does one learn what variety of species they have here in the first days of trading as well. I have no idea what black eyed susan i have. Looks like a typical one to me.

I also wanted to let you know that I somehow figured out how to separate the blanket flower seeds without chaffe in my fingers! I have a lot, so have become a pro at sepeation, I guess! I like to give them as "extras" with my trades because they are so bright - I have "Dazzler".

Plant some flowers and 'weeds' that will repel the bad guys and attract the good ones. For example, I'm waiting for a trade for tansy that repels ants. They not only invaded the house, but , I believe, they farm ants on my plants. Search for beneficial insects and companion plants. There is a great forum here on GW: Plant pests and diseases. I love that cartoon! I was just reading about the history of computers today, and hadn't realized how far we'd come since the fifties. Sorry your farming is wearing you out. A flying car sounds doable. We have dishwashers, microwaves and roomba vacuums nowadays, so maybe robot butlers will happen. But chickens aren't ever going to do just what we want, and the weather is what it is.
