Have: Snail Vine or Phaseulus Caracalla Seeds

These are not the corkscrew vines seeds. These are Snail vine or Phaseulus Caracalla. They are snail shaped flowers and are purple. Fresh off the vine.

I'm look for unusual vines seeds like coral vine, uncommon morning glories, passion flowers, etc.

Hi JK, I have fresh seeds of coral vine and Japanese Morning Glories- Hatshu Arashi and few others ,mostly blue....would love to trade for your Snail Vine.

I've seen at least four requests for these seeds, both here and on the USA seed exchange. You guys should all get together and do a group purchase from Parks or in bulk at B & T World seeds. These are expensive and hard-to-find seeds and obviously very popular this year. Just an idea.

"Escape"? Don't bet on it! Any member in the Fabaceae (Pea, bean) group has the potential to do so. Hawai'i has three native Vigna spp.: Vigna adenantha, with whitish and/or light purple flowers. Indigenous, but either very rare or now extinct in Hawaii. If it still grows here, I have no idea where. Vigna marina, or nanea, a beach or inland species with bright yellow flowers; a common indigenous species and easy to grow from seed. Use as a ground cover. Available at Home Depot or Hui Ku Maoli Ola on O'ahu. Vigna o-wahuensis, an endemic and endangered species but now available for cultivation. Grows in hot, dry locations. It has pale yellow flowers. Not as striking as V. marina, but very rare and worth growing. Hui Ku Maoli Ola (O'ahu) or Ho'olawa Farms (Maui) should have plants or seeds. I would highly encourage anyone in Hawaii to grow these instead of introduced species. Aloha, Kawika

I'd love some snail creeper seeds. Don't have much to trade at the moment, and no fruit or vegie seeds at all, just the following: Schotia brachypetala (birds love the nectar of this tree); Beaucarnea recurvata (6 seeds only of this ponytail palm, if you're interested/patient enough to try growing it from seed); seeds of what I think is an Erythrina, probably E. crista-galli (the common coral tree); and tiny quantities of Caesalpinia cacalaco 'Cascalote' (yellow-flowered) and C. gilliesii (bird of paradise shrub). Do any of these take your fancy?

Have some hyacinth bean vine "Ruby Moon" and some morning glory mix and clitoria (not ready yet).

I would like to have some of your snail vine seeds. The only seeds I have for vines are the Black eyed susan vine. I also have money plant, mimosa, northern sea oats and sunset hibiscus. Or I could send a SASE. Let me know if you are interested.

I have seeds of twining snapdragon vine (Asarina scandens) "Jewel Mixed". The flower sprays look great in the garden, and also can bloom up to 5 days in a vase.

Plus, this plant roots easily in water so you can share it with local friends! :)
