Yes you would be fine putting it out today. Dimension needs to be watered in with .5 " of rain or irrigation after application. However, if your in maryland there is no rush you have at least a couple of weeks. Yes the Lesco product takes the place of Halts.

To the fearmongers-in-residence who ten months ago told me "You should have had this thing swept several times already. Don't use it again until you do" and "you need at least an annual sweep and to get one before you burn again," this is what I have to say: I kept using the stove, as usual, all winter long, until I ran out of seasoned wood in mid March. NO CHIMNEY FIRES! And you know why? Because this morning when the same guy who installed the stove three years ago inspected the chimney, there was virtually NO creosote in it, after THREE seasons of HEAVY use. This guy had also tried to scare me back then, saying that I should call him in February (that would've been four months after he had installed the stove) because "these stoves produce a lot of creosote." So, today, when he asked if we had been using the stove these past three years, I said yes, all winter, every day, minimum 12 hours most days. When he was done sweeping, I asked him to show me how much creosote had accumulated in three seasons. He looked at the little mound of powdery residue and said "not much, really." I didn't want to hear any BS so I refrained myself from asking "Why in the heck do you tell people to clean their chimneys at least once a year?" One of the things I really hate about home ownership is having to deal with contractors/servicemen who try to scare the hell out of people into paying for something that isn't necessary. Shame, shame on you, greedy leeches!! In my experience, if you have a wood stove insert you DO NOT need to have your chimney swept annually.

How about putting in a water feature at the garage wall and adding the breeze block wall by the walk from the drive, perpendicular to the garage (photo 3 above)? On the left side of your walk from the street build a low planter like photo 1 above. The straight portion we see first (in front of the door) would be in front of those two large windows on the left with a gravel sitting area between it and the house. Add some colorful chairs to pick up on the colorful plants. The more staggered part behind it in the photo would be near the sidewalk to the front door. The walk could be made more interesting if staggered like the planters rather than a straight shot to the street.
