Pruning 2nd year apple graft

Looking for some advice from the experts here. I purchased a number of apple bench grafts last spring, however did not follow the advice of maintaining a single leader. I now have a few trees with a Y shape. For most of the trees in this condition, the more vertical leader is the strongest, which I will prune off, however in one of the trees, the stronger of the 2 leaders is the more horizontal. My questions is, do I prune off the weaker of the 2, and allow the stronger shoot to correct itself, or should I maintain the more veritcal of the 2 in order to maintain the integrity of the shape? Note: The trees are on Bud9, and I plan on pruning to a central leader. Thanks for the advice.
