what should i buy to improve the garden soil?

yes, compost. but i can't wait for that long. i am doing some, but they are not ready.

i put some in a big jar, and filled them with water, since the jar only has a opening on top. i just use that water to water the vegetable garden. the veges are not growing much.

they used to grow really big, same place, same water amount. now they are not growing much at all.

and it is already summer, some of them are still in the seedling height, and already producing flowers! so i can't wait for the compost to be ready.

i tried manure last year probably too much, some plants got killed, and others didn't seem to grow too well at all.

so now i am thinking about buying the garden soil. this seems to be a safe solution.

or maybe sphagnum by miracle gro.

i think that soil is definitely not as good as a few years ago. that is why the plants are not producing much.
