WANTED: medicinal plants or herbs

I am looking to expand my herb growing skills and try my hand at herbal medicine. I would like motherwart, feverfew, winter savory, licorice, St. John's wort, marshmallow, evening primrose, and or skull cap along with anything else either of medicinal or edible value. I mostly veggies to trade along with a few flowers and herbs.

I am looking for seeds/bulbs/clippings of any plant used for medicinal purposes, eating, or aromatherapy products. I have limited seeds in return for now but I do have radishes, butternut squash seeds, pumpkin seeds, peas, helicryshum, wheat grass seeds, acorn squash, zucchini, and some beans but I will have to check the type again. I will in the future have more diverse seeds so I'd love to make any connections I can. I should have ephedra plants coming soon and some pink potatoes.

You're asking the right questions, but not the best place. This is a forum where people expect to find plants you will trade for their plants. Try this: http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/herbs/ Research some of your questions there and then repost your questions. If you have a "beginners list" of seeds you want try posting those in the Seed Trade post. You can offer postage in exchange for seeds if you don't have seeds to trade. Happy Gardening!

Have you tryied soaking in light fert? I have some live plants that I could get cuttings from and that I'm waiting on seeds from I could easily get one from the mint (I don't know if it's peppermint or spearmint) My main container has stevia lemon verabena a couple different Basil's lemon catnip reg catnip 2 types or rosemary Greek oregano lemon thyme a few more things mixed in? Those would mostly be fresh cuttings unless some were to root

hi =) and welcome i have a number of things from your wanted list. i am interested in - elderberry Borage White Mulberry (seeds) Wormwood Valerian i have a lot of Allheal (self heal prunella vulgaris) Chamomile common culinary oregano fennel as well as berries, organic veggies seeds from my garden, roses and common mint. i will attach my list so you can look it over and get back to me if you want to trade. you can chose a couple of extra, just cause youre new and i am trying to down size my seeds a bit.... Vick is the plant that they used to make vick vapor rub. To help ease congestion Chest colds. You could boil the leaves And inhaled to clear nasal and respiratory passage. It has a lot of uses. For the primrose I have seeds not cuttings and the Vicks I have a cutting with roots.

I have seeds of common selfheal, lyreleaf sage, lemon beebalm, and wild bergamot. Also a few other herbs like parsley, cilantro, and basil. I saw in another thread you have some monarda/beebalm species that I don't have. Send me an email from My Page if you are interested.

Does anyone have motherwort, fenugreek, black cohash, St. Johns wort, licorice, or other medicinal seeds I am not aware of? I have several others I recently received.
