Hyponex potting soil contamination?

glacier1093

Hi all, I've been using Hyponex potting soil for my veggie seedlings, but the other day when my sister went out to get me another bag at our small local market, one of our neighbors told her that she had heard on the news of somebody's cat drinking the water that had leached out of their house plant which was potted in hyponex mix, and the cat and died, apparently the potting soil contained arsenic. Anyone know if there is any truth to this? I did a google search and couldn't really find anything. It had to have been recalled right? Should I be worried that eating the veggies potted in this soil would be dangerous? Just wondering if anyone knows about it.

Thanks

Glacier.
