Hi All,

Another member mentioned wanting to do a surprise swap of seed packets. I thought this was a great idea and decided to organize a surprise 20-seed packet exchange. For more details, and to sign up, follow this link to the round-robin blog:

I have never done a round robin , my son is getting married on may 31, so can I get a name, and address, early, so I can send out my 20, to, whoever? or do I sent them to you? Angela, and you shuffle them and disburst them to others/ sorry, I never have done this. please let me know how it is run. and I want to be in.

Well...everyone get the gun and shoot me! I have the rr! I was sooooo sick last week with some kind of virus and missed 4 days of work. It was horrible...and I still haven't sent the rr out. I will do it tonight when I get home and send it to Brenda_in_ok! Everyone, I am so very sorry....after being sick and trying to double-time it at work all this week I forgot about it. But it will be on the way tonight! If you can't forgive me....you can just shoot me....I need someone to put me out of my misery anyway! LOL Ugh.....how can so much work pile up so fast??? I think it's taking longer because your mail goes to Wisconsin to get sorted, but Thursday will be just fine. I'm not going to get out into the yard until the weekend, so I'll have a few days to look through the new seeds. I'm looking forward to playing with them all!

What is a Round Robin?, AKA Seed Swap Pass
What is a Round Robin, sometimes known as a Seed Swap Pass.
There are different types of Round Robins, they can be for seeds, (mixed, vegetables, perennials, annuals), they can be for anything that the originator decides upon.
The starter of a Round Robin will post the type of 'Round Robin'. Once she or he has selected the number of participants and the route the Robin will take, they will mail the Robin, usually they will also at this time announce the flight path of the Robin. The Robin will be sent to the first person on the Flight list, this also is decided by the originator. It will follow its route from person to person, with each taking out as many items as they choose and replacing those items with the same number of items of their choosing, keeping in mind the guidelines of the originator. The Robin is then shipped to the next person on the list and generally it will be posted on this forum when the Robin has landed 'meaning a new person received it' or that the Robin is in the air, 'meaning that it is on the way to the next person'.
