How to buy Concord Grape vines

Hello All,

I've been reading a number of posts on this site about growing Concord grapes. Based on this forum I've decided that I definitely want seeds and NOT seedless since the seedless seem more disease prone and fruit less.

Other than that, I need some advice on how to pick a good vine (or vines). Since I live in MA I'm hoping to find a local nursery where I can go buy them.

I'm just not sure what questions I should ask to make sure I don't get junk.

-How old should the vines be?

-How many should be planted per foot in a straight line?

-Is there a specific Concord seeded variety that I should be asking for or just "Concord"?

-What should a vine cost (1 year, 2 year, etc.)?

Sorry for the generic questions but I'm fairly new at this and I just want to make sure I know what I'm buying. Especially if I can't get them at a local nursery I'll need to know what to look for online. That begs another question, is there a reliable online resource for buying Concord grape vines if I can't get them locally?

Many thanks in advance.

-Adam
