Howdy all I'v had lots of fun with papercrete. It is quite strong enough for a herd of guinea pigs and lightweight to boot. I would put a layer of regular crete over it and then seal it for the poo & pee resistance. Try Lowe's for a large selection of masonry items. I was quite surprised to see that they carried selections of stucco, joint compound, sands, cements, and several Quik products. Home Depot had cement and quikcrete and that was about it. How about a castle with a drawbridge and a moat? A dungeon could be the hidey-hole. Have fun!

I have had shots, but only when necessary, last one in 1998. I do not run to the doctor for a shot that is makes people money based on paranoia. They took out my cousin's gall bladder to fix a pain they found out was caused by kidney stones. He did not have the brains or guts to go after the doctor for unnecessary surgery (by the time a different doctor found out what was causing the pain, the other doctor had moved to a different town) but he still runs to the doctor continually with his attitude being half the illness. (He has admitted that half his problem are probably in his head but keeps doing the same bs. Oh yes, for years he blamed many of his internal problems on his herniated esophagus. While they were looking at his insides to find what finally turned out to be kidney stones, he told the doctor that he had a heniated esophagus. The doctor told him that had healed up nicely quite some time back. He still blames some of his problem on it.) The worst case of food poisoning I had, or may have been, was after I went to a well know rib place around here. After eating the bread pudding before the ribs, I fairly rapidly lost my appetite, did not feel sick, just odd and not hungary, so I took the rest home and went to bed. During the night I threw up, not dry heaves, heavily threw up till I guess I was empty, with the remaining coming out the other end. After the last one I felt fine. I nuked the ribs I took home in the micro-wave and ate them the next day. I was told when I was very young, after my attending my first funeral; you start dying the day you are born, get used to it. Life goes on.

I have seen it in the Springhill catalog before. It does grow wild at the side of the road and in fields around here.It grows around the ditchlilies and blooms July here.

Swiss chard is apparently poisonous to me. Although I grew up eating it, if I eat it now I get to experience a very violent, painful total system purge similar to the effects of food poisoning. Sure that it couldn't really be the healthy Swiss chard I'm growing organically in my garden that was causing this food poisoning reaction, I sautéed some chard for supper last night. Suffice it to say, it was a long, most miserable night, and sadly I have crossed chard off of my list of veggies I enjoy.
