Unsuitabiltity for hardening off becoming a problem

Unfortuantely we have had rain here for the last month or so and storms nearby so unfortuantely I have been unable to harden my plants off. This is now becoming a problem because it is slowing the growth of my plants, which are quickly growing out of the small pots they are already in. The melon plants in particular which are still being grown inside in small plants have already begun developing baby melons about the size of a 1p coin at the moment, I am afraid that if I leave it any longer I will not be able to plant them out without stunting growth or harming the growing fruits. Where the weather is also so variable at the moment rain sun, sun rain throughout the day and the temperatures seem to be changing all the time it is also taking a long time to get fruits off any of my plants. What do I do?

If I dont get fruits soon then it will be an extremely short harvest for me.

Thanks, Mike
