I am new to gardening and trading and the forums. Can you explain "SASA" and "SASBE"? Also, are seeds traded generally ones people have removed from the fruit they've grown or from another resourse? Thanks.

SASE is what i believe you mean, that is a self addressed stamped envelope.

SASBE is a self addressed stamped bubble envelope.

These are what you send someone that is offering seeds for this type of offer. You send the envelope or mailer to the trader with the required postage and they fill the envelope or mailer with the seeds you asked for, put the address label on it and the stamps you send and mail it back to you.

Most seeds are seeds that the trader has collected from their plants, though there is a mix of extra seeds from commercial packets as well as extra seeds from generous traders that are more than what the trader wants to plant.

I myself trade mostly seeds that I've collected from my own plants but do offer the extras from generous traders as well.

Hope that helps to explain things, if not, don't be afraid to ask more questions

Hi I am new to this forum...have been hanging out on the GW Lawncare forum for several years. I'm fairly new to gardening, so I don't have anything to trade yet, but would love some of the Four-O-Clock seeds. My grandmother used to have lots of these in her garden and I have fond memories of them.

I would REALLY like to trade for your last trade of marigolds, and last trade of the broken colors 4 o clock! :)

I want the marigolds for companion planting to keep bugs off my food plants, and the 4 o clock is one of just a few annual flowers that likes my Z11 climate. Please see if there are some things on my tradelist you want. :)

Also would appreciate of you could include these SASBE items-- chives, seashell cosmos, bachelors buttons, chinese forget me not, disco belle hibiscus, and tomatoes celebrity, purple cherokee and white wonder as bonus seeds with this trade.

Sending an email--would love some White Wonder and Purple Cherokee to store for next season!
