This is VERY cool!!!

You will see that non-engine items such as controls, wheels, adjusters, transmissions and the like will ultimately be longer lived on the Super Recycler. The Super Recycler should mulch and bag somewhat better as well. That is not to say the Recycler is a bad mower - far from it. It's just that the Super Recycler takes quality a step higher. I own a Super Recycler and my next door neighbor owns a Recycler. We're both quite content with our choices.

@gardenbeet: yes, i am indeed torturing them in a hardcore way,and thats on purpose. Theres no point of using a cheaper solution if it needs replacing twice a year :-p. the first ones i bought have been through 2 winters already, this is their 3rd one, and they are holding great :) the stitching never gave away, even on model with the thinner material ( the light brown/beige ones). The textile ripped completely but the stitches are like new! Wally pockets have certain benefits for sure, snce they are specially designed for growing, but are not economically viable and i suspect they wont last much longer than those shoe organizers which cost a fraction of the price :) The material in those shoe organizers had no drainage holes but the material itself drains. They do dry out very quickly due to the small size of the pockets ans the fact that they are not contiguous. The best 2 improvements that could be made to this system is drip irrigation and using a white material to keep things cooler. Last summer I said that where a farmer can only grow 1 stalk of corn in ground. I can grow 32. And by going vertical I can grow 128! In that same space. A space less than a foot wide and 2 feet long. These are simple structures that are made from 1" PVC pipe you buy from Lowe's. They're called The Corn Tower, the Tomato Wall. The Tomato Waterfall, The Ball & Chain pumpkin maker, The Ball and Chain watermellon maker. This is the Dark Garden Method. Best yet everything I build is completely moveable, lightweight, use 1/4 the water and no nutrient run off. All of the methods use no shovel, no fuel or machery, no bending over if you don't want to and no weeding. Another positive point is that it's completely organic. Thru this method of Urban Intensive gardening you can grow food by the ton in small spaces. None of the problems of hydroponics and the ease of container gardening. Now I've already started tradeing seeds for next year's garden right here on GW and elsewhere. In fact here my seeds list if anyone's interested.
