New to Gardening - a few pictures...any tips?!

This is my first attempt at gardening and I wanted to learn from those with more experience. Since I already put in the time getting things going, I want to make sure I try my best to keep them growing!

In late May we bought small starter plants and sectioned off an area of the backyard. I wanted to pick an area that was against our fence already and out of the way. We may try a different larger area next year. This current area has been getting direct sunlight from about 12:30-6PM daily. We planted 3 early girl tomatoes, 1 cucumber, 1 squash, 1 jalapeno, and 4 pepper plants.

Here's pictures from Day 1:

And here are the pictures from a few days ago. The tomato and pepper plants seem to be growing really slow, others seem to be doing fairly well. How much should we be watering each week? We've been sprinkling Seven Dust on them and it seems to be doing alright, although there are a few leaves with holes.

If you have any tips you'd like to offer, I'd love to listen. Thanks!!
