Would like some Iris and Sweet William seeds for my brother

Hello,

My brother lost his job and then his home, and is now renting. He would like to plant some Sweet William and some Iris. Does anyone have these seeds that they would like to trade with me, I have lots of seeds? I don't think he has any idea of varieties, he just knows that he had to leave his behind. Unfortunatly, these are 2 seeds I DON'T have, lol! Any Sweet William or Iris will do. I have a couple of Iris that I can share tubers of with him when the weather warms.

Hi kvalentz/Kathy,

I have some seeds from Michael Paul (I'm pretty sure it is) and also a tall Japanese (or maybe Siberian ) type if you are interested in for sase.

Check my list too for anything else of interest. It is fairly up to date.

Hi Mrs. B, Just wanted to let you know I received your BEAP several days ago and have not forgotten you. I'm all torn up here, having tiling work done, but should have your seeds ready to go out Mon, Tues at the latest. I'll let you know for sure once they are headed your way. Thanks, Karen. I think I also saw some Boy Mauve (lavendar) Bachelor's Button and Limnanthes douglasii (poached eggs). I don't really particularly like the poached eggs any more, don't know why I bought them. Oh, I think I have a few sprouts of Aquilegia Flabellata. If so, that's good because those can be very slow. I'll just use the Alyssum for filling in, will probably have tons that self seeded again. I might get faster results if I move them into more sun but think it's best to leave well enough alone for now until it's closer to the time to open some up, am going to have to wing it on that. A lot of new tulips in front overnight making for a more even display. That will be nice until more things get going.

My Sweet William reseeds every year. The first time it flowers, I deadhead the plants. Then it will blossom later in the season. I let those flowers go to seed. I simply ignore them and the seed drops onto the ground. There is always a variety of new and old plants coming up within the clump. Sweet William is a biennial. The seeds sown this year will most likly blossom next year. If your Sweet William is happy and in a good spot, the reseeding just happens.

MARG: I have Sweet William seed that I received in trade that are marked Dark Red (but which I have not tested so must rely on the trader) which I will be glad to trade to you along with Hibiscus Manihot seed that I will pull fresh from the pod.If you would care for these seeds I would be glad to exchange them for a few of your Foxglove..White Camelot and some of your Lupin..Band of Nobles.Please let me know. I would like Siberian Iris seeds, the old cheapies, he had yellow but any color will be fine if you have those seeds to trade. I have been offered plenty of the Japanese Iris seeds now, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH !

I have the Iris and Sweet William seeds coming and I want to thank you all for helping. I don't need anymore Iris or Sweet William seeds now, I can't wait to see the look of surprise on his face. We both have had a rough couple of years and I just want to make him smile.
