WANTED: queen anne's Lace seed

we are looking for seed for this plant(in the carot family). all we can find is the fake one- Bishop's Weed,or ammni magus-we can't find the REAL one!- the one w/ the red or purple dot in the center of the flowers! PLEASE help!!

it is,i believe,considered a weed in the Eastern States-

but my mom loves it and wnts to grow it!

Wanna try mine?It'll probably have some other seeds in it to.but I will tape the queens so that you can identify it-pretty cool,we always died it with food coloring when I was little,I'm in upstate ny-dirt roads and such,and to put it politely,once you get that bee outta your bonnet-it just isn't a weed anymore.Anything else that grows up here an' you wanna try-let me know!!!Wend

I also have a bunch of QAL AKA Wild Carrots, but not mixed. LOL the seed even smells like carrots :)
It's quite abundant here and grows in our lawns as well as on the sides of the roads.

Hi! I don't have Queen Anne's Lace but I do have Orlaya White Lace which is a slightly shorter annual version. Could I trade that for your Cerinthe Dark Blue? Or I have Burgundy Gaillardia if that is more your thing. Thanks, Heather

I would sow them now-most sites say they benefit from fall sowing. Just an FYI-they are not native and some consider the plant a noxious weed. Rhonda

I don't know if you have found Queen Ann's lace, or not. It is actually the wild form of the cultivated carrot (same plant) Carrots, if left over the winter will "go to seed" the next year and be identical to the weed known as Queen Ann's lace. Carrots are biennial, so by planting seeds this year, you won't get flowers this year. However, there MIGHT be a way to get some flowers for your mom this year. Find some carrots at the store that look like they are sprouting and plant them in the ground. Depending on your climate, now might be a good time to do it. They SHOULD come up and bloom this year. Their cold storage should "trick" them into flowering this year. It is worth a try. Meanwhile, you should be able to get the wild form very easily from someone.

I have a pack of this seed. It is Queen anns lace/Wild carrot.

I am happy to share with you. I would be interested in some poppy seeds if you still have them.
