Genuine S,Korean Hot Pepper seeds for TRADE

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I've been on these forums. I've missed everybody. Although I'm from central NJ, I'm currently spending the next 2 years working overseas in South Korea and I never thought I'd miss the good old USA so much. I'm dying to get my spring garden started but there isn't much selection in terms of seeds here. What I do have to offer though, are genuine South Korean hot pepper seeds used in ground red hot pepper powder that Koreans use in making Kimchi. These come from peppers that I harvested myself in the countryside in Ichon province, known for its rice and ceramics. It was pretty cool to witness the annual Kimchi making festival, known as Kimjang, here in Korea last October-November. I have available fresh dried seeds from last summer's crop - 30 per trade. There's a place in downtown Seoul that is known as "Plant avenue" that sells some korean veggie and flower seeds... if there's anything that you're looking for, please let me know. I know I've seen some Jack bean (those magic bean seeds sold in cans), Korean peppers of all shapes and sizes, Korean morning glories, some variegated. I also know that I can get my hands on some native seeds that are sold in shops too. At this point, I'm homesick for the basic American goodies - and some hot peppers or tomatoes if you can spare some. Here's what I'm looking for:

Purple Hyacinth Bean vine - LOL! I can't believe I'm asking for this online. I used to have these seeds coming out of my ears back in the states

Love in a Puff vine

Double/Triple - Datura - Looking for white, yellow, purples, Blackcurrant swirl

Heavenly blue MG - they don't have this over here!!!! Can you believe this!

Scarlett O'Hara MG

White moonflower vine - Ipomoea alba - I'm not talking about the datura bush

Fish pepper

Peter pepper - anyone have the red and the yellow?

Bishop's Crown pepper

Rocoto pepper - Oh please, if anyone has fresh yellow or red, you'll make my day!

Trifetti pepper

Other cool peppers - I left my entire seedbox at home in NJ when I left, didn't realize I was going to stay overseas for so long! Wah!!!!

Sunflower seeds - like Mammoth, the tall, single headed kind

Emilia - red tassel flower

i would love some of the pepper seeds!! i do have some yellow tripple datura. ohhhh i'd send you mg's for mg's!!! that'll be so neat!! and i have some blue variegated, that's all it say's. so i'd trade for some variegated, and i have mammoth sunflowers also!! LOL please email me!! :'))

I would love some native edibles and pretties! I have some double yellow and double purple datura, a few hot peppers hot tepin, sweet banana, cayenne, hot portugal and santiago hybrid), a few tomatoes (roma, mortgage lifter, and grape), and whatever else is on my trade list... Please let me know if we can make a trade...

Thanks to all who posted, keep them coming. Some native seeds that I can send include veggies - lettuce, Korean perilla, not the Japanese kind known as Shiso, purple balloon flower, Purple aquileglia, pumpkins/gourds/squash, cotton (these are picked from my grandfather's backyard in Ichon, they grown about 3 feet tall) - have plenty to go around. Hmmmm.....Koreans eat lots of lettuce among other veggies. Hot peppers in all shapes and sizes come in second.

Keep your requests coming. Thanks again for the interest. I will be sending seeds in bubble/protected mailers so I expect the same in return. In addition,it will be through air mail which should take 10 days to reach the USA.

Korean perilla, Purple aquileglia, i'd love these two plus what i asked for, any kinda korean morning glory thats really aweosme looking!! i have some that i can definately share, and i have different seeds i can share! i have a korean neighbor so i'm so sure she'd love some vegies from home, she often gets homesick. so when i saw this post i thought hey!! what better way to get some of these seeds going??/ i can help two people!!! :')) well 3 really, you two and if you two are happy that'll make me happy!! LOL this is a weird month for me, so i gotta go with it!! LOL
she loves making kimshi and some korean cabbage and she made me some kinda hot sauce like stuff, only its not so hot, like jalepeno's LOL i'd love it if it weren't so salty!! LOL :')) so i'd love anything that i can give her so she can make this stuff....any flowers she'll love she just got cleared of cancer so we are all relieved and sooooo happy!! and thankful!! she's kinda like a mom, LOL or grandma, well like inbetween. LOL :'))

Hi, I am also very interested in ANY of your seeds from Korea. I have lots of your wants and probably more. I have the Hyacinth Bean Vine-purple, lots of varieties of Sunflowers, Peter Pepper-red, and maybe the yellow too,if I still have any left, Moon flower vine,Heavenly Blue M.G. and may still have the Scarlet O'Hara, also have other pepper seeds like Habanero-red, Habanero-green, Jalapeno-green, Cayenne-red, I also have a few Bishops Crown, Lemon Drop,and others, too many to mention.
