Wow, that's quite a list. I don't think I have any of those, though.

if there anything like my favorite "CORNO DI TORO" i highly recommend them, they are one of the "HORN" peppers, there a very strong prolific sweet pepper and if i have not missed my guess there in the same general family as the ones you mentioned, i have a friend who owns a farm and grows them the plants have tons of fruit on them!! the taste is so out of this world its hard to discribe and im a hot pepper nut!! im growing some in my garden this year. hope this helps some thanks your friend joe

Hmmm.... I grew it once about 3-4 years ago and it was not hot at all. I'm growing it again this year and they're loaded with fruit, but none ready yet. Is there any possibility you had used the knife on another pepper that was hot? The cutting board? If not, could there have been some oils left on your hand from other peppers? Other than that all I can think of is the seed was crossed with some hot pepper in the seed growing field. Where did you get your seed? This year I got mine from Totally Tomatoes so I'll see how it turns out. Sorry to hear about the problem, that's gotta suck after waiting all summer for SWEET Italian frying peppers...

I guess none of you have tried this one. I've never heard of it until I recently found it on Trade Winds Fruit site. I'm hoping this description is correct since this is exactly what I'm looking for. A large Italian pepper, similar in overall shape and appearance to the popular Corno di Toro, except with a spicy flavor. Features a mild heat that is excellent when you want a spicier version of a sweet frying pepper!
