have: calycanthus floridus(sweetshrub) for sasbe or trade
I have a a good lot of C. floridus seeds available for SASBE or trade. These seeds are large, about the size of a roasted peanut, and require cushioning in the mail.
10 seeds per request. I weighed it out that 10 seeds in a bubble envelope is 1 oz and requires just 1 stamp. I have a good number of seeds available, if you want more let me know. Every 10 seeds will probably need another stamp.
C floridus needs to be wintersown or go through cold temperature stratification for a couple months. Last year I had good germination from my seed batch through wintersowing but the seeds kept me waiting until June and July to see them sprout!
My trade list is not up to date. The C. floridus is currently the only seed I am giving/trading and the following list are the only seeds that I can take right now: (*means most desired!)
-Eupatorium purpureum - Sweet Joe Pye Weed*
-New England Aster*
-Short's Aster - Aster shortii*
-Wild geranium - Geranium maculatum*
- Muhlenbergia capillaris - Pink Muhly grass*
-yellow coneflower - ratibida pinnata
-bradybury's monarda*
-hybrid day lily seeds*
-virginia bluebells
-pycnanthemum incantatum - short toothed mountaint mint
-caenoanthus americanus- new jersey tea*
-bleeding heart
-meadow blazing star - liatris ligulystilis
-rose mallow
-marsh mallow - althea officinalis
Please feel free to email me. Thanks! ~Helen
