I can trade two types blanket flower, gaillardia. One is a pink/white fanfare type (never seen one of these in catalogs) I sowed it from seeds in a wildflower package and they resowed itself, some came back pink/white and some yellow. The other is an orange identified as "tokajer". If you are interested LMK.

Is this the white lychnis? I have the hot pink one. I have a perennial geranium, about 3 ft. tall, pink, it was given as seeds, so no name. It does bloom all summer, but it does multiply all over, but baby plants easy to pull up. Does great in shade & sun both. I also have lemon balm, which does great in shade. In sun, it spreads all over, (member of the mint family). In shade it behaves pretty well. I can send seeds of both. I have been with gardenweb 10 yr. or so, with a few reviews. I usually don't trade, as our yard is full. If you are interested, just ask. darlene

Terry- since Terra Nova specializes in varigated foliage perennials, they might have some suggestions for you on how to refine your breeding process. I agree that getting a true seed strain would be the ideal for a biennial. Some Lychnis are perennial I think. I know my 'Gardener's World' one was (until it got killed as part of a landscape renovation). I wonder if you could cross-breed it with that plant. Perhaps it's sterile. I don't recall. I just thought cuttings might increase your 'mother' plants. In any case, here's the new plant solicitation information for Terra Nova- it's worth checking out. I have lots of them and soon Nasturtiums mixed from your wish list. Would you like to wait for Nasturtiums or just Lychnis now? I have lots of other annuals too, but not all the seeads are ready yet.
