Has anyone else noticed that books on curb appeal and landscaping the front yard always discuss making everything appropriate to the style of the home--and in their list of homes "types" never once mention the McMansion?
Sorry, folks, you may think they're ugly, but they're everywhere. To not include them as a type in with the Colonial, Ranch, Tudor, Craftsman, Spanish, etc. just makes the list horribly incomplete and leaves many of the people who buy home-improvement and landscaping books scratching their heads and wondering if the book is missing a few pages.
So what's Appropriate landscaping for the McMansion? What gives them good curb appeal?
Have any of you found any books that address this?
(No jokes, please. I'm actually being serious here.)
