I cant believe all the trouble all of you have had getting these to sprout. My one vine I had outside, kept throwing its seeds all over the place, before I could get to them, to collect them. I spent a small fortune on buying small amounts of seeds over the past 2 months! Single Blue,Double Blue,Single White & Double White. I nick the corner of the seed with a nail clipper,soak overnight in warm water, plant very shallow in a small pot of sterile soil,place plastic wrap over the pot and tie it on with a rubber band. Put it under the lights of my Aerogrow garden,hot lights,bright lights,and they sprout in less than 3 days,sometime 2 days! Even when I didnt get to collect them,they popped out of their dry pods, and turned up in my lawn here in Ft.Lauderdale. Cut down by the lawn mower. I am growing all of the colors NOW,in winter,in 1 gallon grow pots,till I can plant them outside in spring, and the double blue is blooming at only 1 foot tall! I couldnt believe that I had to nick and soak them,but that was the trick,along with the plastic on the pot and the bright hot light,making the soil warm. Hope by now, a year later, you all have gotten your Clitorias to sprout. I finally got my seeds, and seedlings of all the colors. Spent way to much to get so few seeds, but out of one vine, I can collect a ton of seeds from my own vine, from the so called, 'rare white' and 'double white' flowering Clitorias,...and sell them on EBay,and rip off those sellers...like they did to me:).

I'd love to try these. I'm particularly fond of blue flowers. I have lots of space so I'm sure I can find a good spot for them. I bet they would look great growing along side my black eyed susan vines. Dee
