Help! What to do about my peas and beans?

I planted snap peas in late February in the same place I intended to put my pole beans. Here it is mid-May and I really need to get the beans in the ground, but the peas, while looking good and about 3 feet tall, have yet to make a flower. I checked yesterday and they are just about to bud. Now I'm afraid if I plant the beans between them, which was the plan originally, that they won't get enough sun or be choked out by the peas. I was just going to pull up the peas, since I had some planted elsewhere, but lo and behold, that 2nd planting has been grazed off by deer and there are no tops on them to make flowers!

So...my questions:

Can I dig up and move the peas? Will that just kill them?

Do you think the beans will be okay if I just do what I intended in the beginning?

How long will the peas take to make pods from the time they start to flower?

Or...do I resign myself to yet another pea-less garden and pull them up? - I'd rather have beans if it comes down to it.
