have witch hazel want wisterias

Hello,

I still have some witch hazel saplings that need some good homes. I also still have some herb and vegetable tree seeds that I'm willing to trade. If you're not interested in these, let me know what you're looking for I might have it. I'm looking for wisteria cuttings or saplings that have roots on them. I'm looking for white flowering wisteria and pink flowering wisteria, or any other cultivar hardy to zone 5.

I have been looking for witch hazel. Will happily take any you can spare. Can send wisteria cuttings or check my list for other possibilities. although the map says this is Z6 we are rural, high and windy so all our plants are hardy to Z5.

Hello, I am desperately looking for hamamelis intermedia plants. I know that they sucker a lot, so if you have one that's suckering a lot, I will trade you if you dig up one of the suckers (they're very very hard to root from cuttings so suckering is the preferred method). If you have another idea for cultivating witch hazels, please tell me, because I don't know one! I don't have a huge collection of plants but I can offer some spearmint, peppermint, purple sage, chives, feverfew, mulberry tree cuttings, stella d'oro lilies, or some lily of the valley. I'll take any hamamelis intermedia cultivar, but if you have these cultivars, that would be even better. Hi, I haven't been to this nursery yet, but one of the instructors at the IES in Millbrook said they had great plants, and all native. I certainly plan on getting there sometime this spring. I should think they would have a good selection of woodland plantings: http://www.catskillnativenursery.com/index.html Also, the Dutchess County Conservation Center sells various shrub and tree seedlings once each year for very good prices - these are bare-root seedlings. The website is : http://www.dutchess.ny.nacdnet.org/products.htm However, you must go to their location in Millbrook to pick up the plants. But, being able to get a bundle of 10 Witch Hazel seedlings for $11 could be worth it :-) Philomena
