I have many large sections of a dragon fruit, no name tho. But the flower is bright red. Would really, really ,really love a piece of your Purple Haze. Also have one almost 10" white veitnamese D.F. that was sent to me a month ago and is planted but I do not know how long it takes for it to root plus the stress it has already gone through....

I have cuttings of Purple Haze if you are still looking. Would love a cutting of your dwarf dragon fruit. Is this the orange variety?

tt, I'm not growing carrots, but one of my neighbors does every year. So I used this as an excuse to go over and visit with her. ;-) Here's what she said: She uses a potting soil that she gets from a local nursery that's mostly very small bark fines and muck. I use the same one for my tomatoes. She mixes a lot more builders sand into it for the carrots. Use a pot that's at least 2 inches deeper than what they say the carrot will grow and thin them to about 2 inches apart. You want your potting soil to hold moisture, but also drain very well. The bigger carrots are prone to cracking if you don't keep constant moisture. Feed every other watering with a 1/2 strength general purpose fertilizer, she mixes a small amount of time release in the potting soil when she plants. She also said to not grow the purple, look for one called super sweet or something like that for the kids and now is the perfect time to plant carrots for here. Corrie
