green bell pepper plant stem turning brown?
Comments (2)Peppers are "woody stemmed plants" (wood is their structural fiber) so it is normal for the stems to darken as the plant ages. In time you will see almost black sections of stems at the branch/stem joint as they take on a bark-like appearance. Dave...See MoreBell pepper leaves

Comments (3)Yep. Sunburn. Nothing to worry about RIGHT now, but colored bells take a while to ripen to final color and SUNSCALD might become an issue. Pics of the leaves would be helpful, but probably nothing to worry about. Kevin...See MoreHow Long Before Bell Peppers Turn Yellow/Red

Dave PS: I assume you know that leaving the green ones on the plant to get the colored ones means less production over all because the plant shuts down? It's a good idea to pick a few of them as greens to keep it in production....See Moreikea_gw
