HAVE: Yellow Butterfly Vine and Greg Mistflower

I have lots of rooted yellow butterfly vines and greg mist flower that I would like to share. The butterfly vine stays green yearlong has two different bloom heads, one is like a cluster of tiny yellow orchids and the second is the lime green seedpods that resembles a butterfly. The Greg"s mist flower is swallowtail and monarch butterfly crack. It blooms for me from spring to the end of fall and comes back every year. Please look at my list to see if anything else tickles ur fancy. Thanks

Would love to trade for day lilies or bearded irises.

Flowering Succulents (yellow, red, orange, neon pink)
Purple padded cactus
Yellow butterfly vine (blooms yellow orchidlike flowers, seedpod looks like butterfly, evergreen, and I luv this vine!!!!)

I have read that pruning back by 50% in July will keep them shorter and cause branching which should produce more flower heads. I have never pruned mine. I just allow them to sprawl. I do know that they will get very large and leggy if they get too much fertilizer and water. Not getting enough sun will also make them leggy. Dana

Hi Angel, I see that this is an old note. I was wondering if this above note was sufficient enough information for you?l While Geoge was right, he didn't mention that it helps to use more mature growth to work with. Young growth can't support it's life while waiting for roots to develop. So, you'd need to further up the vine for cutting material. So, I'm wondering... have you had any success with the seeds? I've got lots of seeds and want to plant them. Xtal

Bella, I missed you at the s/a plant swap. I brought you a new cutting of the varigated brug. I held on to it until around 12:30 when we had to leave, then gave it away.
